Hyrox Training in Richmond, VA

Never done this before?

Don't worry—our coaches review injuries, movement limitations, and experience levels before every class. Every exercise has a planned regression and progression.

HYROX

Hyrox does not reward general fitness. It rewards knowing exactly what a wall ball feels like on tired legs at station eight. Every piece of the course lives in our building, so you rehearse the race instead of approximating it.

Program Description

Hyrox is a fixed format race: eight one kilometre runs, each followed by a functional station, run back to back until the clock stops. Because the format never changes, preparation is a solvable problem. The athletes who race well are the ones who have practised the transitions, know their split targets, and have felt every station under fatigue before race day.

Our Hyrox program is built around that reality. Sessions blend compromised running, station specific strength, and full race simulations so you learn what your legs do after a sled push rather than finding out in a convention centre. We work the transitions specifically, since the roxzone is where most first time racers lose minutes they never planned to lose. Pacing is coached, tested, and adjusted as your fitness changes.

Programming is written by coaches who have raced and judged the event, which means the standards we hold you to in training are the standards you will be held to on the floor. No judged rep gets waved through here. Whether you are targeting your first finish, a sub 90 open time, a doubles partner PR, or a pro division qualification, we build backward from your race date and tell you honestly where you stand.

Every station on site

SkiErg, rowers, weighted sleds for push and pull, sandbags, kettlebells, and wall ball targets. You never substitute a movement because the equipment is missing.

Coached by a racer and judge

Our owner has competed in Hyrox and judged it. Rep standards in training match the standards on the floor, so nothing gets no repped on race day.

Compromised running, not fresh running

The race is won on how you run tired. Sessions deliberately pair running with station work so your pacing holds when your legs are already cooked.

We run the whole thing before you race it. You leave with real splits, a roxzone plan, and a target time you can trust instead of hope for.
